We were recommended to come here by our jeweler, & we are so happy we popped in! It is such a cool atmosphere, inside & outside. The staff was incredible from the hosts to our server! Food was wonderful. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in town! It’s very unique inside & all the artwork is awesome too.
We were 10 min late for my reservation but they seated us straight away. I had Salmon which had a nice crispy top that was amazing. The crab cakes are a must. It is noisy on a Saturday night but still great food.
We had such a lovely meal at Clyde’s in Georgetown! The atmosphere feels classic and cozy with that old-school charm — perfect for a relaxed lunch date. I ordered the steak frites, which came perfectly cooked with a creamy mustard sauce and crispy golden fries — absolutely delicious. My boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger, and he loved it! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail (super fresh and sweet) and finished with an espresso and a slice of cheesecake topped with cherries — the perfect ending to the meal. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out beautifully presented. Overall, Clyde’s is a great spot for classic American comfort food with a touch of elegance. We’d definitely come back!

Best service I have had in the area. Mustard that comes with the pretzel is amazing and needs to be bottled and sold/shipped. Sofia was amazing on her first day. If her performance represents the rest of the staff, you will not be disappointed.
We have dined here a couple of times while in town to visit our daughter. The restaurant is beautiful with lots of architectural character. The food has always been delicious and the service is top notch!
As always, great service, food 🥘, and drinks 🍹! Might be a short wait to be seated but is worth it. Parking might be challenging but there are always spots to park in the residential areas a few blocks above. 7.5 out 10 overall review.
I went to Clyde’s for brunch and had the most amazing time! We sat quickly, our waiter was attentive, and the food was delicious. I got the steak and frites but substituted for the mashed potatoes on recommendation from our waiter. SO good! And we got the baked oysters and a mocktail. Definitely will be back!
Delicious food!! We all loved our dishes and drinks. I ordered the Sangria and Chicken Marsala Fettuccine, and it was absolutely divine. The atmosphere was very nice, a little bit loud because of the bar. The service was nice, a little slow to get our check and boxes but the food and drinks came out timely. Overall a great dinner.
Me ans my brother went there last night after finishing a tour and got there at around 11:30pm hoping that the kitchen was still open so we could grab something to eat. We ordered an appetizer; pita and hummus and a main dish; fried trout with potatoes. Everything was delicious! The hummus was so fresh and the trout was spectacular! Our server was young, attentive, nice and did an amazing job getting us everything fast! I would definitely go back!
